Support for Russian Family
On 5 October 2017, Certus Financial Group Adviser Svetlana Connolley met with the Mother of a young Russian girl named Victoria, who is unfortunately battling a very serious brain tumour. As a small gesture on behalf of Certus, Svetlana presented her with a two hour spa voucher and various Russian food items.
Victoria is currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Auckland and faces a very challenging time ahead. She has recently undergone surgery, as well as four chemotherapy sessions to deal with a secondary tumour.
Certus recognises that this is an incredibly stressful and difficult time for the whole family, especially being away from home and in another city. As a company that regularly assists clients who face traumatic illness within families, we understand just how testing and emotional a time like this can be.
Svetlana is receiving regular updates from the family regarding Victoria’s progress, and at the moment she is progressing well with some improvement. We wish them all the very best.
